What D Flawless means

D is the top of the colour scale. The stone is completely colourless, with nothing to soften its brilliance.

Flawless is the top of the clarity scale. GIA gives this grade only when a diamond shows no inclusions and no blemishes under 10x magnification. Nothing inside the stone, nothing on its surface.

Why most jewellers cannot offer them

Very few rough diamonds finish as D Flawless, so very few reach the market. Most jewellers never see one, and most buyers do not know where to look. Our experts source from Bharat Diamond Bourse in Mumbai, the largest diamond market in the world, where 9 out of 10 of the world's diamonds are sourced. Combined with our 27 years in the trade, across Mumbai and New York, that is how we reach them.
